Field Trials are considered by many to be the ultimate test of
dog, trainer and handler. In regional and national trials throughout the year highly
trained and talented Springers compete head to head to determine which dog-man team is the
best at bagging game under the scrutiny of seasoned judges while expert wingshots bring
flushed game to ground. Even for those not committed to the rigors of training for
this level of competition, every Springer enthusiast should once take their place in the
gallery to witness spectacular performances by dog and man.
The NWESSC sponsors two Field Trials per
year. Check our events page for dates and locations. Admission is free to
spectators.
